Hi! My name is Franzis Kabisch and I am a filmmaker, feminist and friend, based in Vienna and Berlin. I am interested in bodies, norms, erotics and language and am moving between different contexts such as film, art, sex education and activism. My current project deals with the depiction of abortion in film and other media. Often, I work collectively, for example with the group Feige – Verein für queer*feministische Bildung und Bildproduktion on projects about sexual self-determination and female gaze. Or with the group Feministisches Fundbüro on topics such as archive politics, feminist herstory writing and care work.
